Frequently asked questions about Jönköping 10K/5K

According to the rules of the Swedish Athletics Federation, there are no age limits for participation in races shorter than the half marathon.

Ordinary registration for Jönköping 10K/5K closes on October 16 at 23:59. Late registration opens subject to availability on October 18 and closes October 22 (additional fee: 50 SEK). After October 22, it is not possible to register via the website – you can register in the start area by bib distribution (Lillsjöplan), subject to availability. on October 28th from 07:30 – 10:20.

There is an additional charge of 50 SEK for late registration.

Yes, invoice is one of several payment methods and once you have made your registration, it is complete, regardless of the payment method. Registration is binding. If the invoice is not paid, a reminder will be sent.

Once your entry is registered, you will be included in the start list. You will see the confirmation on the screen immediately after registration and you will receive a confirmation e-mail as soon as you have paid. The confirmation also serves as a receipt. As soon as you have paid, you are registered and appear on the start list

When you register and pay, a registration confirmation will be sent out by email with a summary of all registered and any other purchases (t-shirt, cap) that were made at registration. Check the junk mail in case you can’t find it.

You register as usual and tick the distance and products you want. Then enter the code you received as a gift. Then the amount is deducted from the shopping cart. If it does not work, it is because the person who bought the gift card did not enter your email address at the time of purchase (the code only allows registration via the selected email address). If so, email us at info@jonkopingmarathon.se and we will add your address so you can complete your registration.

If you are unable to participate, you can change your name on your entry until the 16th. October 2023. You will have to find your own replacement. There is an administrative fee of €100.

If you have taken out Startklart insurance and are ill or injured, go to www.startklar.nu to find out how to make a claim.

The only way to get your fee refunded is to subscribe to the Startklart cancellation cover. In such cases, you contact Startklar if injury or illness has occurred. As stated in the notification, it is not possible to transfer your entry to the following year.

Distance change is only possible until 16. October 2023. Administration fee is charged. After this date it is no longer possible.

If you still wish to run a distance other than the one you are registered for, it is possible to buy a new entry as long as places are available.

No. Everyone must get it at the bib distribution point in the starting area at Lillsjöplan. , or ask someone else pick up the bib for you (ID required)

Yes, if that person knows your start number (published on the website two weeks before the race in the start list), has your ID and their own ID.
